Ouster of yedurappa/ Resignation of yedurappa
Finally yedurappa leaves the Karnataka hot seat for Gowda. Long awaited resignation of yedurappa finally came across much to the respite of BJP but the former CM had his demands met as he left his place for successor of his choice S. Gowda who claims to be no puppet Chief Minister. Well now time will tell what ground reality is but for now yedurappa is the king pin in Karnataka politics opposition within party and outside are nowhere to be seen seems like Karnataka has got its new super chief Minister yedurappa sure. He has muscle as central leadership also has no answer to yedurappa demand other than accepting them.
B.S Yedurappa who is alleged of charges of corruption on him. It is not the first time when yedurappa is in the lime light. He was also indulge in the land grap scam where he had two more alleged irregularities in land allotment both in shimoga, his political backyard were brought to light. The land at Malligenahalli was meant for constructing houses for a common man but now it has succeeded in getting it diverted for constructing hotel there. This was not the end of his corruption but also his son S. Yeddurappa was charged in the illegal mining scam.
Despite these allegations B.S.Y is the boss for now as he seems to have cruise control of political situation in Karnataka and also he is playing Karnataka government as the puppet of his hand.
